What animals are you likely to see while exploring the Arenal Volcano National Park? You might spot deer, tapir, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys and snakes, or birds like parrots, orioles and brown magpies. Rio Celeste National Park

Located in northern Costa Rica,  this national park boasts stunning river views and plenty of opportunities for wildlife adventures. The park was created in 1995 to protect the Tenorio Volcano, which is still active today. The park is home to an abundance of fora and fauna as well as the beautiful aqua-hued Rio Celeste waterfall.
The Rio Celeste is an amazing shade of blue because of the sulfur that is emitted by the volcanic activity in the park. Walking through the entire park takes about four to five hours, including stops at all of the best points of interest. Besides the river and mountain  rainforest, the beautifully shaped Tenorio Volcano is the main attraction of this park,

The Venado Caves offer visitors a rare glimpse into a mystical underground world – one that is filled with stalactites and stalagmites, caverns, rivers, fossils, and strange subterranean creatures. During your guided tour of the caves, you’ll see limestone rock formations, bats, monochrome frogs, fish, spiders, crickets, and a variety of marine fossils.
The facinating tour is led by a bilingual guide and lasts around 1.5 hours.  You will walk nearby the waterfall and river – so it’s advised to wear light, quick-drying clothes
